Matt. 7:15 "BEWARE of false prophets...vs. 16 "Ye shall KNOW THEM by THEIR FRUITS." What kind of converts or followers does that preacher have? ... If they are worldly....if they love the world and the pleasure of the world, if they look like the world....the love of the Father is NOT IN THEM.
If there is NO CHANGE in the lives of those that hear him day after day....then that preacher is NOT God's servant....but he is preaching another Gospel....corrupting the Gospel for filthy lucre's sake.
Jesus said plainly "Ye shall KNOW whether a man is preaching the TRUTH or not by the kind of FRUIT it PRODUCES IN YOUR OWN LIFE! Then Jesus adds in verse 19; "EVERY tree that bringeth NOT forth GOOD FRUIT is hewn down, and cast into the FIRE." So, now, the question to ask yourself is; has your life truly gotten better as a confessed follower of Jesus Christ under the preaching of the person you've submitted yourself to as a pastor?
